Endovascular Robotic System

Our Iris endovascular robot is designed as a bedside endovascular device manipulator for local and telerobotic procedures, enabling control over various devices through a control console. The Iris system is designed with the capability for sub-millimeter precision robotic control within an innovative configuration.

Features
  • Iris is designed to be compatible with a range of guidewires, catheters and treatment devices.
  • Cassette Controller is positioned to the patient using a dexterous positioning arm, which is easily installed using the system cart.
  • Remote physician unit may reduce radiation exposure for the physician.
  • Interventionalists can avoid exerting continuous force on the musculoskeletal system.

ElectroSteer Deflectable Guidewire System

Our ElectroSteer Deflectable Guidewire System is the world’s first electronically-controlled steerable smart guidewire: a minimally-invasive, steerable tip access tool designed to assist in navigating complex vascular anatomies and difficult-to-reach locations.

Features
  • A microfabricated Nitinol/stainless-steel deflectable guidewire.
  • Electrically actuated distal tip incorporates smart materials and nanorobotics, enabling dual-direction deflection.
  • Integrated with the Iris endovascular robotic system or used with a battery-powered handheld controller. Connected to the proximal end of the guidewire using an integrated cable.
  • Radiopaque design for visualization under flouroscopy.
